Overall, what can be seen from the chart is that in 2010 higher rate of participation was reported whereas that proportion was lower in starting years ( 1980 and 1985). Another interesting point is that , participation figure was increasing from 1980 to 2010.
If we look at the IBM company data , in 2010 , candidates for senior development job were nearly 63 % and despite having lower ratio of participation on early stage , number of candidates drastically increased after the three decades of period. it started from negligibly 2% to reached over 60 %.
Concering Microsoft , it was on second position and number of participants gradually increased from 1980 to 2010 .
Apple company had a flautation for percentage of participants . Moreover, Microsoft percentage was twice compare to Apple that had 25% of participants.
