Overall, it can be seen that four factors that affected employee’s work performance have significantly different percentages between older and younger, while the remaining six factors have a similar number in both age groups.
To begin with, there is a dramatic difference in chance for personal development, about 90 percent of workers aged 18-30, while the opposite was just above 40 percent. Similar differences also showed in relaxed working environments and promotion prospects, where the former accounts just above 80 for 18-30 aged groups and about 40 for 45-60, moving to the latter where the number stood at 80 for younger and 50 for older. In contrast, team spirit and work environment had similar numbers in both groups of age, where the former stood about 60 and the latter about 30. By comparison, money, job satisfaction, a competent boss, and respect from colleagues are the factors that have slight differences between the age group, accounting for 70 percent, 50 percent, 50 percent, and 40 percent respectively.
