The bar chart illustrates data about the differences between the amount of salt that were consumed daily by men and women in Europe in 2019.
Overall, what stands out is that having age 20-29 and 30-39 consumed salt substantially, while others age gorups consumed salt milligram decreased significantly. At the beginning, age 2-5 salt intake milligram grew substantially and age 70 plus overtook at last.
Looking at the first figure, there were around 2000 milligram per day salt intake by men, whereas men consumed approximately 2000 milligram in 2009. Regrading second figure, women having age 6-11 consumed salt under 3000mg and men consumed salt were over 2000 in 2009. As for the third figure, having age 12-19 consumed salt under 4000 milligram and women were just below 3000 in 2019.
With Regard to the fourth figure, salt consumed 5000mg in a day by men having age 30-39, while women consumed just under 4000 in a day in 2019. Compared with the first figure, others categories supassed the limit of recommending daily intake 2300mg in the whole year.
