Overall, it can be easily seen that Europe makes the majority of migrants, and North/South America stayed as the least one over a ten-year decade.
To begin with, migrants from Oceania was 17% in 1987, but numbers increased to 23% afer ten years. Europe was 37%, remained as the most dominant and it diminished slightly in 1999. Moreover, Middle East Africa accaounted as 15% in 1987, and experienced a appreciable rise, to 20%.
On the other hand, migration from North East Asia to Australia was 15%, same as Middle East Africa. However, it saw a sharp increase in 1997, to 24%. Furthermore, rest of the Asia made up the 24% of the migration statistics, but it did not last long and declined to 14% in ten years. North/South America had the lowest numbers of migration compared to the others. It was just made up the only 6% in 1987 and diminished slightly in 1997, to 5%.
