The bar chart shows the comparison of four source of calorie from the three age groups of UK males.
Overall, every group of age shows different characteristics of calorie sources that are consumed by the British men. Different Age influence the different type of calorie they need to consumed.
For those who clasified from age 0 – 24 years old, the needs of Dairy is the highest to be consumed with the persentage around 42% of the total calorie intake, followed by meat and vegetables with persentage of 20%, and slightly lower for pulses.
On the other hand, UK men who at the range of 25-49 years old consume Meat at the most with the persentage of 50% of their total calorie intake, followed by Dairy, vegetables and pulses at the lowest.
Last, for those who are over 50 years old, they need more pulses with persentage of 65% of total calorie needs. Then for the other categories have a relative lower, which around 10 -20 %
