Overall, there is a significant difference in the distribution of wealth and population between countries. In terms of wealth, North America, Europe, and Rich Asia-Pacific surpass other countries despite having small populations. Whereas countries like China, India, and Other Asia-Pacific have the largest populations but a smaller distribution of wealth.
To be specific, North America holds the largest amount of wealth, around 34 percent. Similarly, Europe comes second with 30 percent, and Rich Asia-Pacific comes in third with 24 percent. In comparison to the large amount of wealth, the distribution of population in these countries is noticeably smaller. Rich Asia-Pacific has the lowest population among all, with 5 percent, and North America follows with 6 percent. Europe has an average population with 15 percent.
In contrast, other countries’ populations surpass their global wealth. China has the largest population, with around 25 percent, while having a low amount of wealth, with only 3 percent. Other Asia-Pacific and India have similar populations, around 16 percent. While Other Asia-Pacific has a 4 percent wealth distribution, India has a slightly lower amount. Africa stands with India, having the same amount of wealth, about 2 percent. America and the Caribbean are at a similar distribution, with 6 percent population and 4 percent wealth distribution.
