The bar chart illustrates numbers of people visited four museums (History Museum, British Museum, National Museum and Science Museum) in England in the past five months (from June to December).
Overall, it is clear that people went to the museums the most in August and least visited these places in December. It can also be seen that over the months, only one museum remained almost the same instead of experiencing ups and downs like the others.
Three out of four museums, which are the History Museum, British Museum and Science Museum, had the similar trends, as they all increased before August (just above four hundred thousand people, slightly higher than the History Museum and approximately 430,000 visitors respectively). On the other hand, both History and British Museum jumped up significantly in August, reaching six hundred thousands tourists and tipped slightly over seven hundred thousand in the summertime, while the Science Museum remained the same amount of visitors from July to August, had only four hundred thousand people. However, it can be seen that as it reached September, the other two museums falls, with the History Museum decreased greatly ( just below four hundred thousand), while the British Museum had a less dramatic fell (just under 600,000 tourists). Finally, as it went into December, all three museums dropped even further, reaching their lowest points ( under 300,000 people, almost 500,000 visitors and three hundred thousand people respectively).
On the other side, the Science Museum is the only place that remained the same amount of attractions except in August, which it also rose greatly compared to the other months, at four hundred thousands people visited the museum. Compared to the other three museums, the Science Museum has the least rise and fall among the four museums.
