The graph below provides the amount of 8 different car trips were driven by men and women in percentage during 2005. It is evident from the chart that throughout the period, work reached its peak at more than 50% of women were driving and almost 40% of men were driving, while visiting town with women drivers was its lowest with under than 3% throughout the period.
The car trips of running errands driven by females, compared to recreation, were tripled at the level of 10%. Shopping trips were twice higher than visiting friends, where approximately at the level of 16% of women driving and slightly higher 3% than courses trips. However, car trips were driven on bank and running errands had equal numbers at about 4%, which is halved than the courses and the visiting town.
The numbers of women driving were mostly found at work, followed by shopping, courses, and 5 others with under than 10%, where the three of them had stayed at the same level at between 8% and 10%. Otherwise, visiting town and recreation were far much lower than other trips, probably no more than 5% throughout the period. On the other hand, car trips with men drivers, same as the women, were on work and followed by 4 different trips that were in a steady amount with less than 12% while bank, running errands, and visiting friends were about 6% lower.
