The given bar chart illustrates the percentage of energy consumption in two locations; namely in 2007. Overall, it can be seen that, oil was the most popular energy consumption among other categories in both areas, while nuclear was the lowest figure.
To begin with North America, the figure for oil had the highest percentage at 41% which was almost two time as higher as coal just about 20%, while the figure for hydroelectric had the lowest consumption at just 5%, futhermore, the percentage of natural gas and nuclear were about 25% and 9% respectively.
Moving to South America, nuclear had few consumtion just only 1%, which was the lowest category in this year. Followed by coal, which had the percentage of usage at 5%, In contrast, the figure for oil showed the most usaged in this area reaching to 45%. The percentage of hydroelectric and natural gas both similar at under 30%.
