The presented bar graph compares the proportion of the involvement of young people ages 18-20 in 5 different sports namely basketball, cycling, football, swimming and hockey during a month.
Focusing on the gist, the dominant sport that both genders joined was cycling, while hockey showed the opposite. In addition, there was a big difference with the figure of football.
For males, football was the most participated sport which obtained a little more than 50%. Furthermore, cycling and basketball acquired an almost the same percentages of around 35%. Swimming got exactly 20% and hockey was considered to be least favorite with only around 10%.
Turning to the others features, for females, cycling showed a higher number of participants than swimming. The former illustrated 40%, while the latter presented 35%. Moreover, football and basketball’s proportion were around 15%. Lastly, hockey presented the least famous sport and got only a little more than 0%.
