The bar graph shows the percentage of males and females who participated in five different activities and aged 18 to 20 within 30 days. Overall, men were more active in all activities than women except for cycling and hockey.
Regarding basketball and football, a huge gap was observed between men and women in participation proportions in both activities. Participation percentages in basketball, approximately 34% among males as compared to about 12% among females. In terms of football, females were not as active as males, at around 16% compared to almost 52%, respectively.
As for other activities, women were more energetic in cycling over the period than men, at two-fifths as opposed to around 36%, respectively. Likewise, females involved more in swimming than men did, accounting for around 36%, while men were 16% lower. In contrast, women were less occurred with hockey than males, making up 5% while men showed just 7% more.
