The presented bars illustrate the drug company’s total sales in America, Europe, and Asia from 2002 to 2006.
Overall, the percentage fluctuate erratically in all regions throughout the years. One exception was in Asia, where the data have a stable increase.
Regarding Asia, the initial sales were only one-fourth of the total in 2002. In 2003 and 2004, it rose by 5% each year. It was followed by a minor increase to 37% in 2005 and to two-fifths of the total number of sales in the final year.
The same cannot be said for America, as the initial sales were occupying over 40% in the year 2002. Then, the statistics decreased rapidly from 35% in 2003 to a little bit over a quarter of the total sales in 2004. However, the numbers soon picked up, increasing to 29% in 2005 and three-tenths in 2006.
In contrast, while the initial number in Europe was low, only presenting 34% in 2002, the percentages increase slightly to 35% in 2003 and nearly two-fifths in 2004. However, it soon plummeted to 34% and to around 30% in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
