The bar chart illustrates various methods of waste disposal such as landfill, incineration, recycling and compositing in four cities (Toronto, Madrid , Kuala Lumpur and Amman). Units are measured in percent.
Overall, the landfill of waste disposal in Toronto is much higher than other methods in different cities, while Amman has a least compositing of disposal like other cities, as opposed to landfill with the most percent of total waste.
We can see that Toronto and Amman, there is landfill with the overwhelming majority of waste disposal (around 75% and just under 50% respectively). At the second place incineration, in Toronto just over 10% and Amman just under 40%. At the third place method by recycling that which contains around 8% and just over 10% compared to compositing with about 7% and approximately 2%.
In terms of waste disposal in Madrid and Kuala Lumpur, with the most incineration (exactly 40% and around 55%, respectively) and least compositing (just under 10% in Madrid and about 6% in Kuala Lumpur). The landfill, at the second place in Madrid with just under 30% of total waste disposal, compared to recycling over 20% in Kuala Lumpur.
