The bar chart illustrates the percentage of men and women in different age categories who did not exercise in 2005. It is divided into five groups by age including poeple from 18 to 55+ years old.
Overall, it is clear that the proportion of individuals who were not interested in exercise depended on ages and as elder was person as less interest was to sport. In addition, the shares of males and females to physical activity grew relatively similar.
Turning to the details, the percentage of young people from 18 to 24 showed the lowest disinterest to exercising at approximately 12% women and around 18% men. In contrast, the proportion of eldest people represended the highest figures of physical disactivity at about 37% by women and just over 40% by men in 2005. It follows that the share of women’s disinterest to sport rose significantly by 25%, whereas this figures among men grew by 22%.
