The bar chart illustrates the comparison of four activities—watching TV, reading, art, and cycling—among three age categories, namely 5-8, 11, and 12-16 years old individuals. Overall, watching TV is the most popular activity among all three categories, while the reverse is true for art. Watching TV and reading showed somewhatsimilar patterns, with both demonstrating a more relatively balanced distribution across all age categories in question.
Watching TV tops the list, with a little less than 100% of all 12— to 16-year-ld people being occupied with it, while the figure is approximately 5% lesser for those who are aged 5-8 and 9-11. This was followed at a distance by reading, with proportions for 9-11 and 12-16 years beingg similarly around 65%, while that of the youngest Australiansis only 61%.
Conversely, percentages for remaining categories showed higher differences among age groups, with art being less popular as children grow, shrinking from 60% to 45%, whereas shares of reading and the bike are relatively higher. Around 80% of the oldest people in question took part in it, compared to 75% of the youngest age group and only 60% of middle-aged children.
