Watching TV took the leadership among the other categories. Around 85 % of the children who were between 5 and 8 years old spent quality time in front of TV, while the proportion was 90 % for the children from 9 to 11, and just under 100 % for the children between 12 and 16 years old. When it comes to reading, popularity among 5 and 8 years old children was relatively lower around just above 60 % than children from 9 to 11 and from 12 to 16 years old, with the same proportion of 65 %. In the realm of riding the bike, about 65 % of 9 to 11 years old children involved in this activity, whereas the share was around 75 % for 5 to 8 years old children, and just above 80 % for 12 to 16 years old children.
In contrast, around 40 % children who are 12 years old and above, took part in the art, whereas the proportion was 55 % for between 9 and 11 years old. However, children who were 8 years old or below, participated the most, with the figure of 60%.
