Band 5: The bar chart shows the number of times per week (in 1000s),over five weeks, that three computer packages were downloaded from the internet (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The graph illustrates the installed softwares from the online through out five weeks.

Overall, ActiveX, Java and Net increased their downloads compared to initial. ActiveX was the most preferred programme in Week1 and Java was following it’s growing. Although Net had fluctated for weeks, it had more downloads than first week.

ActivEx had around 70000 downloads in Week one and it continued to grow until the third week. After it decreased in minor level in fourth week, It had significantly peaked to approximately 120000 downloads and keep it’s statue which is the most popular. Java had more than 40000 customers in the beginning and it was the second programme that used by individuals commonly. It remained it’s increasing by weeks and nearly doubled itself by reaching over 80000 users in the final week.

Net was the less downloaded tool at the beginning by nearly 30000 users. It decreased dramatically between Week 1 and Week 3. Then it peaked to 50000 subscribers at the end of the period
