The chart below illustrates the total numbers of visitors to four London museums in five different months, June, July, August, September and December.
Overall, the British Museum has the highest number of visitors in August, while the Science Museum generally had the lowest figures. Also, visitor numbers were the highest in August.
In June and July, the British Museum recieved around 400,000, which was slightly more than the History Museum and the National Museum, both of which had just over 300,000 visitors. The Science Museums had the fewest visitors in these two month, with about 200,000.
In august, the visitors increased substantially for all four museums. The British Museum reached its peek at around 700,000 visitors, while the History Museum also rose to almost 600,000 visitors. Visitor numbers in the National museum and the Science Museum increased to about 390,000 and 400,000 respectively.
In September and December, the figures fell down quickly. The British Museum still remained the most visitors place, with around 600,000 in September, and near to 450,000 in December. The National Museum seemed the lowest results during these periods.
