The bar chart presents information on how many people engaged in the evening classes offered by an educational center during 2009. However, the pie chart highlights the percentages of age group involved in these lessons.
Overall, it can be indicated that women are more into language classes whereas men seemed in favor of painting classes. In addition, sculpture lessons were the least favorite type among all. Elderly people, who are 50 or over, form the largest percentage of attendees in the courses offered.
In regard to gender, women tend to take language classes as there were 40 women registered in that course. However, only half of that number from men took it. Both parties chose painting classes as their second favorite course. Thus, 30 women and 20 men enrolled in painting lessons. Furthermore, sculpture class was the least preferred one for both male and female, however, it is seen that women farvored this classes a little less more than men did as less than 10 women took this classes compared to 10 of men.
Moreover, people who are aged 50 and over constitute just over 40% of regular customers to these courses. The second age group was people who are between 40-49 years old where they form around 30% of the overall totals of the attendees. People at their twenties were the smallest proportion of the overall prectanges.
