Overall, it can be seen that Germany has the lowest renewable energy usage while, the United States, China and Brazil all use the same percentage of renewable energy. Among the five types, Solar was mainly used compared to geothermal.
In Germany, Solar was the most popular, with about 40% of households using it. Wind was also high at around 35% while hydro and biomass at 10% and geothermal at only 5%. In Brazil, Solar was also the most popular one at about 35% with wind and hydro slightly lower. Geothermal and biomass is the lowest with only 5% of usage.
In the United States, the biomass is the top source with about 30% while China is slightly lower with solar energy as its top source. Both of these countries has a slight percentage difference of 5% in wind, hydro and geothermal with China having geothermal as its lowest source.
In conclusion, Solar is the main source in Germany, Brazil and China while the United States relied more on biomass.
