The bar chart shows the percentage of men and women aged 18 to 20 who took part in five different activities in one month in 2015.
Overall, men joined most activities more than women, except for swimming and cycling, where women had slightly higher numbers. Hockey had the lowest participation for both genders.
Football was the most popular activity for men, with about 55%, while women had only around 20%. Basketball also showed a big difference, as around 30% of men played it, compared to about 15% of women.
In swimming, women participated more, reaching about 30%, while men were around 15%. Cycling was also similar between the two genders, but women were slightly higher at just over 40%, compared to around 35% of men.
Finally, hockey had the lowest rates, with about 10% of men and around 5% of women taking part.
