Overall, it is evident that male participants demonstrated higher levels of engagement in most sports compared to their female counterparts, with football being the most popular activity among males.
In term of male preference, football ranked highest at about 50%, while the figure for females was roughly 15%. Basketball was also common for young men,with around 33% taking part, compared with only from 10 to 11% of women. Participation in hockey was relatively low, but males still led at approximately 10%, whereas females accounted for only around 3%.
By contrast, females were more active in cycling and swimming. Cycling involved about 40% of ươmen, slightly exceeding the male propotion of around 35%. A similar n can be seen in swimming, where roughly 35% of females participated, compared with about 20% of males.
