The chart depicts the proportion of the youth from four different countries pursuing higher education between 2000 in 2010.
In general, it can be easily seen from the chart that the rate of young people who continued their education in the countries presented an upward trend except for that of Country B. In addition, the highest statistic would be Country D whilst the category of Country B witnessed the lowest average.
To begin with, Country A ranked last among the four countries with under 40% of young demographics having achieved higher education in 2000. Next in the higher rankings came respectively Country B, Country C, and Country D with exactly 40%, around 42%, and 45%.
After 10 years, there were consistent rises in terms of young people in higher education in Country A, Country C, and Country D. Country A figure experienced the most noticeable growth of over 20%, followed by those of Country D with a 15% rise and of Country C with a 7% increase. Meanwhile, the number of higher education students in Country B saw a slight fall in 2005 before returning to its original amount.
