However, the recorded average gas price then witnessed a marginal decline to 2.50 dollars before bouncing back to 3.25 in the next year, which was relatively high.
From 2009 onwards, this number once again fell considerably to 2.35, which was relatively close to the initial cost. After experiencing a significant fall in 2009, the average fuel price climbed back to 2.78 in the following year and continued to rise to 3.52 in the last year of the period, reaching the highest number.
