The bar chart depicts the results of a survey conducted in Vietnam regarding the changes in the number of males and females undertaking in several pastimes in 2010.
Overal, it is evident that boys group tended to opt open-air and physical activities, while girls group showed perferance for craftsmastership, reading and DVD,s. In addition, some activities such as compuer games and DVD,s attracted both genders evenly.
Looking at the details, lads group had the highest proportion in sport at 28%, followed by going to the park at 25%. In comparison, ladies reached their peak in creativity, accounting for 25%. By contrast, other tasks such as books, gaming activities and movies recorded much lower figures, ranging between 15% and 20%.
When compairing genders, it is clear that boys group was significantly more involved in athletics than girls group. For instance, guys playing sports made up 28%, compared with only 12% of lasses. Conversely, girls outnumbered boys in art and craft. Meanwhile, some activities such as online games and films illustrated little or no difference between boys and ladies.
