The bar chart compares the number of mobile phones by two popular brand companies from 2010 to 2020, the table gives information about the most popular used mobile features over the same period.
It is clear that the sales of mobile phones increased during the period 2010 and 2020. It is also noticeable that the highest percentage of people used mobile phones for making calls and sending texts through out the period.
In terms of the bar chart, Nokia sold the highest number of monile phones in 2010, at 14 million, while the figures for Samsung and Xiaomi were 10 million and almost 8 million, respectively. Over the following 10 years, the sales figures of Samsung and Xiaomi rose steadily, but Nokia saw a significant fall of 7 million in sales over the period.
According to the table, nearly 100% of the perople used mobile phones for making calls, which almost double the percentage of people who used handsets to texting. In the same year, taking photos was the second most popular feature, at 70%. Between 2015 and 2020, the percentage of people who used cell phones to take photos and text messaging increased from 77% and 85% to 89% and 95%, respectively. Making calls, on the other hand, was the only mobile feature that decreased slightly by 9% over the period of 10years.
