Overall, Renewable energy of total supply in all countries fell gradually, whereas which in Australia witnessed a period of stability during the years. It is evident that the proportion of energy in Norway remained as dominant, compared to others.
The percentage of energy in Norway began at 60, before having a negligible rise in 2004. In the final year, there was a considerable growth to just under 80% – reaching a peak of the highest figure in the chart. Being the runner up, the figure for Iceland started at 50% in the beginning. Having risen to almost three-fifth in 2004, it underwent a slight fall to around 55% in the last year.
When it comes to the energy resource in Germany, it witnessed a moderate increase over the past three years, starting at 10% and going up to nearly a fifth in 2007, while the figure for Australia remained unchanged at one in ten – being the lowest share of energy of the total supply.
