The bar chart illustrates the amounts of carbon emissions in six different countries for the years 1975, 1990, and 2005. Overall, there was an upward trend in carbon emissions in 2005 for most countries. The USA and China had higher emissions in all three years, while the emissions in the other countries fluctuated around similar levels during the mentioned years.
In the USA, emissions were the highest in all years, recording 1,200,000 in 1975, 1,300,000 in 1990, and then 1,600,000 in 2005. In contrast, China’s emissions dramatically increased over the three years, rising from 300,000 in 1975 to approximately 1,500,000 in 2005, similar to the USA.
Germany, the UK, and Canada experienced relatively stable emissions over the years, with some fluctuations; they recorded emissions of just over 200,000. In contrast, the UK and Canada registered emissions of under 200,000 throughout the years. India’s emissions, however, sharply increased, starting from just above 0 in 1975 and ending with more than 300,000 emissions in 2005
