The bar graph illustrates the proportion of increase in average property prices in different nations including Algeria , China and Argentina from 2007 to 2010.
It can be clearly seen that the rate of property prices in Algeria declined significantly while the opposite was true for China. Moreover, Argentina’s property prices fluctuated.
To begin with, the percentage of prices in Algeria decreased remarkably from 6 percent to 3 percent between 2007 and 2009. After that, the figure had a stability until 2010. In contrast, China’s property prices climbed a sharp rise between 2 percent and 6 percent over the period and reached its peak at 6 percent in 2010.
On the other hand, the proportion of property prices in Argentina experienced a growth to 4.9 percent in 2008, before hitting a free fall to 1.2 percent in 2009. In this year, the figure for property prices in China quintupled the rate of property prices in Argentina . In addition, there was a slight upturn in the percentage of property prices in Argentina from 1.2 percent to 2.3 percent between 2009 and 2010.
