The bar chart illustrates the numbers of three marine species – seals, whales and dolphins – recorded in the Gormez Straits between 2006 and 2018

Overall, the no. Of dolphins increased over the time whereas the number of seals and whales varied over time.

Looking for an overall perspective it is evident that, number dolphins increased steadily over the years . In yr 2006 no. Of dolphins were merely above 15 whereas in yr 2018 it spiked to over 50 . Number of seals were initially more in number . In yr 2006 there were more than40 but on year 2010 there was a decline of number to just more than 20. But later on 2018 it had a rapid raise to more than 40.

In case of whales they showed fluctuations throughout the yr. In yr 2006 there were just more than 20 and in 2018 it was increased to less than 30.
