The data displays the percentage of males, females and children from the UK, who followed the recommended diet, which included the fruit and greeneries, in 3 years: 2002, 2006 and 2010.
Overall, women ranked the most dietary aware group in all the years, while children showed the least interest in the friuts and vegetables consumption. Meanwhile, men have been showing the average results almost catching up with the female results.
According to the chart, one quarter of women followed the recommended amount of natural products in 2002 which was twice as much as children willing to eat the fruits and only 3% more than men consumed the vegetables in the same year. Regarding the 2006, every segment showed an increase with the figure growing by 6-7% in each segment: reaching almost one-third (32%) among women, 28% among men and 16% in the children segment.
As for the last year, consumption in all three segments has slightly decreased compared to
the last year, although still showed higher results compared to 2002. Thus, the percentage of health dietary maintained women declined by 7% making up 27%, though still being twice as much as health-conscious kids in 2010 (14%). Men contributed to less than one quarter.
