The bar chart compares four different countries in terms of how much rice produced per annum in million tons (mt) from 2005 to 2015.
Overall, the amount of rice produced in country A was the highest, the figure for the country D was the lowest over the years. It is also clear that the quantity of rice in all countries fell down dramatically at the end of the period.
In 2005, the amount of rice produced in country A started at around 45 million tons, in comparison to country B stood at roughly 27 mt. By 2010, both countries A and B increased sharply close to 47 mt and 42 mt, respectively. In 2015, the quantity of rice in country A rose slightly further to about 50 mt. However, company B saw a small decrease, reaching just 37 mt at the end of the period.
It is also worth noting that, the amount of rice produced in countries C and D was much lower than the other two countries. At the beginning of the period, both countries C and D started at approximately 5 mt and 3 mt, respectively. By 2010, country C had gone up marginally to around 7 mt but the figure for country D had remained at its initial level and country D underwent a slight increase to 5 mt, albeit remaining unchanged. Country C returned to its 2005 figure in the final year.
