The bar graph illustrates data regarding the share of academic staff by gender in seven vairous categories in 2008.
Overall, it is clear that there significant variations in both of genders during the year. Meanwhile, the highest point was achived by males in engineering and also the lowest point was reached by female in engineering in 2008.
In detail, there were four main categories, where males dominated by majority, the most preferable one was engineering by just over 80 percents. Remarkably, astronomy and science were almost at the same level with approximentaly 50%. At the same time, females was nearly two-third of males in law sector, almost 40 and 60 percents respectively.
In contrast, two sectors were more popular among females, including art and history.
While, art was over 40%, history doubled the percentage by females with nearly 70 percents. However, difference in medicine between two genders was unoticiable by just under five percents.
