Overall, it is obvious from the chart that China was the leader among top countries in the energy production and consumption. Moreover, the United States followed after China, when the Republic of Korea came at the bottom of the list.
Turning to the details, China produced the highest proportion of electricity 5,398 billion kWh, with an insignificant discrepancy in the consumption-5,322 billion kWh. Subsequently, the United States accounted difference of about 1 billion kWh between producing and consuming energy, with more in the production – 4,099 billion kWh.
Conversely, commencing from countries which were differentiated in billions. Russia comprised nearly the same figure in the production (1,057 billion kWh) and energy consumption. While Japan, India, Canada, France, and Brazil belonged to countries with little difference in that of a high figure in the production.
However, the reverse was true for Germany whose energy consumption was higher than the production, 582.5 billion and 526.6 billion respectively. Finally, the Republic of Korea produced 485.1 billion with the consumption of 449.5 billion energy and came to the bottom of the list.
