The bar chart provides information about the percentage of male smokers in seven countries along with the world average consumption of a cigarette in 2000 and 2015. Overall, countries such as Armenia, Bangladesh, Cuba, Mexico, Autralia have a downward trend. While, Egypt and Lebanon have an upward trend. In addition, the total consumption of a cigarette by males slightly decreased over the period.

The largest decrease happened in the Bangladesh and in the Mexico. Their figures dropped from 62% and 35% to 38% and 20% respectively. In contrast, the percentage of Cube smokers remained approximately at the same level 52%-53%. In 2015 only 33% of male population of Egypt were smokers; however, over the period it increased sharply to 50%. Almost same situation took place in Lebanon, the Lebanon figure also shows growth from 32% to 43%.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the period 67% of male population Armenia were smokers but, it decreased significantly to 51%. Moreover, The percentage of consumption cigarette in the world also declined from 42% in 2000 to 33% in 2015.
