The given bar diagram shows details regarding the count of vehicles people own during the past years in China. Overall, it can be clearly seen that there had been an exponential growth in the number of vehicles owned by people from the year 1987 to 1999.
In the year 1987, the count of vehicles per thousand people in China was less than 500. After 1987, the number had been increased above 500 reaching nearly 1000 by the year 1991. Then, it had slightly increased to reach 1000 in later 1991. During this period, it can be seen that there was a good growth as the count increased from less than 500 to 1000.
On the other hand, the exponential growth starts after the year 1991. From 1991 to 1995, the count literally doubled from less than 1000 to reach 2000. After 1995, the pattern continues to hit 3000 vehicles per thousand people which means each individual in China owned around 3 vehicles. Furthermore, the count had been raised again to peak at around 4000 by the year 1999.
In conclusion, the count countinued to grow drastically over the years and based on the pattern in the past years, we can predict that it may continue to grow in the successive years as well.
