The chart illustrates the number of males and females who studied variety subjects in Europe in 2013.

Overall, the number of boys learning Engineering and Science and Maths was higher than that of girls, the reverse was true for the figure for remaining majors. And Social sciences attracted most of the students in both genders.

The figure for males leaning Engineering was around 2100, which was three times as much as that of females in Europe. The similarity was seen in Science and Maths, nearly 1200 boys learned this subject, which was higher than that of girls with roughly 400.

There were nearly 3000 boys and 4000 girls chose Social sciences to study in Europe and make this subject become popular in 2013, and an opposite trend can be seen in the sector of Agriculture with a minority figure in both genders. The figure for female students choosing Humanities was 1500, which was nearly twice as much as that of males with 700. The number of females studying Health was 1600, which was four times as much as that of male in 2013 in Europe.
