The bar graph illustrates the comparison of four different types of jobs’ salary scales, which are described in European pounds, and the table describes the average working hours per week for given professions in the UK: police, nurse, firefighter, and underground driver.
Overall, there is no major difference, or they are equally the same salaries for all job professions, whether they are freshers or three-year experienced. In addition, firefighters have more working hours than others.
When it comes to salary, underground drivers earn £50,000 when they start their job, and after three years, they earn an additional £1,000. Firefighters are the second-highest earners in the UK, with a salary of £40,000, and when they gain three years of experience, their increment is £1,000. However, police officers get the highest salary increment than others when they start their job, which is £21,000, and when they gain more knowledge in their field, their increment is an additional £2,000. Furthermore, nurses get a salary of £18,000 in the UK, which increases to £19,000 after three years.
On the other hand, firefighters have to work 55 hours in a week, which is the highest among others. Underground drivers, nurses, and police officers have to work 36, 38, and 40 hours per week, respectively.
