The chart and table indicates the exercise rate and the number of people absent because of sickness in a company.
Overall, the majority of workers excerise between 5 and 10 hours per week while they took fewer than five days of due to health-related issues.
It is evident that the highest exercise rate is located in the 5-10 hours exercise category, where it has 50% of Birmingham staff and just under half of those in London. Contrastly, it can be seen that the more than 15 hours category has the lowest rate of employees who participate in exercise with lower than 10% in London department while Birmingham department outpaced London with 10%. Similarly, it is shown in the graph that Birmingham again has more exercise rate between 10-15 hours with 25% compared to other one with just 10%. Surprisingly however, London outshined Birmingham in less than 5 hours cartegory with 35% while Birmingaham has 15%.
Regarding sick leave, 380 out of 1000 Birmingham employees reported no health-related absences, in contrast to only 158 in London. Although the total number of workers missing work in London, which has 594 staffs, was significantly higher than in Birmingham with 378 employees, the percentage of those who were off for more than five days remained relatively consistent between the two groups.
In summary, the data suggests a clear correlation between higher levels of weekly exercise and reduced absenteeism due to illness. Employees in Birmingham, who tended to exercise more, reported fewer sick days while London has fewer exercise rate and more absenteesm due to sickness.
