The graph compares the proportion of staff members from two company departments who engaged in physical exercise during a given period or being absent.
Overall, based on a 2012 survey, there was a relative difference in spending time working out between Birmingham and London. Obviously, the Birmingham branch accounted for a larger overall proportion. The number of absenteeism caused by illness was higher in London.
According to the bar graph, 50% of people taking time for exercise between 5 and 10 hours was reported in Birmingham while London was just over 45%, and it successfully got the highest compared to other figures. London was over two times lower than Birmingham from 10 to 15 hours with 10%. Conversely, it still remained the same trend with Birmingham when it was at 15% of staff doing exercise in less than 5 hours.
The table takes a closer look at the figure for illness-related absent employees, 216 people was the distance of Birmingham to equally reach by London in the lower than 5 days absences in a year. Birmingham doubled its number of people working the whole year compared to London’s at 158. There was a negligible difference of those missing over five days of work just at 4.
