This chart and table compare the total hours of exercise per week and absenteeism between the Birmingham and London employees. The more people exercise, the healthier they will be. Overall, the longer employees take for exercise, the fewer people are absent.
The bar chart shows the total hours of sports that the Birmingham and London employees do per week. The workout period is divided into 4 groups for each department. It is shown in the chart that most of the employees from both departments have a workout for 5 to 10 hours per week, with 50% for the Birmingham, and 47% for the London department. London had a lower percentage of employees who exercised for more than 15 hours (8%). However, in Birmingham, fewer employees exercise for less than 5 hours, with 15%. From this data, it can be shown that there are more workers who exercise in the Birmingham department.
On the other hand, the table compares the total hours of absenteeism through illness per 1.000 employees between the Birmingham and London employees. The Birmingham department had a larger number of employees who didn’t have any absenteeism compared to the London employees. In London, there are more workers who were absent between 1-5 days, with 594 workers. However, the number of workers who didn’t go to work for more than 5 days a year in Birmingham was quite similar to that in the London department. The data shows that there are a larger number of employees who were absent from the London department.
