Talking about the hours worked per week, nurses worked for the highest number of hours in a week, for around 55 hours, whereas teachers only worked for around 30 hours per week, which was the lowest figure among all professions. Fire service and police
service were ranked second and third, at 40 hours and 35 hours per week, respectively.
Focusing on the annual salary, police service was the highest earning profession, with 52050 pound annually, whereas, teachers only earned £33,600 on annual basis, which was the least among all. Fire service and nurses were second and third in earnings at £48,700 and £37,450, respectively.
