The chart demonstrates a comparison between the amount of people per household in the UK in 1981 and 2001.
Overall, the percentage of 2 people per household remained higher and increased rather than other household in different ages as well as the percentage of 6 or more people per houshold stayed lower and decresed over the time periods in Uk.
According to the chart , in 1981 the number of 2 people per household was 31%,with 3% slight increase it became 34% in 2001.The other increase section was 1 person per house hold and it increased 9% and become 26% as well. In chart, the decrease sectors are-3 people( declined 3% and became 17% from 20%),4 people(declined 3% and became 15% from 18%), 5 people(declined 2% from 8% and become 6%), 6 people( decresed 4% and became 2% from 6%) between 1981 to 2001.
To sum up, it gives us crystal clear difference between the number of people per household in UK in different ages whereas the ratio remained lower for 6 and more people ,in addition stayed higher for 2 people per household.
