Overall, British people with the age between 36-50 donated the most in 1990, while people who were 51-65 years old gave money the most in 2010. Moreover, people with the age of 18-25 were the least to donate for both years.
In 1990, 42 percent of people between the age of 36-50 donated to the charity while only 17 percent of people in 18-25 donated. Twenty years later, these figure both decreased significantly to 35 and 7 percent respectively. Similarly, there was 30 percent of people in the age of 26-35 gave money in 1990. This figure also fell to around 24 percent in 2010.
35 percent of people in 51-65 years old donated money in 1990. This figure increased to almost 40 percent in 2010. In the same way, 32 percent of people who were older than 65 donated the money in 1990 while 35 percent of people in the same age donated in 2010.
