The United States has the highest number of video game players in the year 2012 with a massive number of 85 million players which is more than twice of Brazil’s number of video game players. Brazil is trailing after the United States by a huge margin but there isn’t too much of a gap between Brazil and Germany which is third on the chart.
Italy and Spain recorded the lowest number of video game players in 2012 with Italy having 17.8 million video game players and Spain only having 16 million.
This chart shows that the United States is leading in the video game industry by number of players. This also makes the United States a potential target market for video game manufacturers from all around the world.
