The given line graph provides percentage of European people, of different age groups, who went to gyms once a month, or more in 20 years, from 1990 to 2010.
A glance at the chart reveals, that all of the age groups show an upward trend by the end of the period. The least percentage of going to gyms once a month, or more shows group of people at the age of 45 and over. Group of people at the age of 25-34 had the first place at the start of the period, then people in the 18-24 age groups overtook them, and remained the first until the end of the period.
As it presented in the graph, there was an dramatic increase in the proportion of people attending the gym at the age of 18-24 from nearly 9% in 1990 to approximately 58% in 2006, with an exception of plummet to 50% after the 2006. Then it recovered to the same percentage as was before the drop in 2010. The group of individuals aged between 25-34 increased noticeably during the whole period from 10% in 1990 to 50% in 2010 relatively.
The percentage of people aged between 35-44 had a steady grow, from roughly 7% in 1990 to 40% in 2010, compared to group of people aged between 45 and more, which had a period of plateau in roughly 10% between 1994 and 2005. Excepting the minimally grow from approximately 5% in 1990 to 9% in 1994, and slight increase from nearly 12% in 2006 to 21% by the end of the period.
