Overall, in all of these cities, the numbers of their populations increased in the given period of time. However, there were significant changes throughout the years in all categories.
Firstly, in 1992, while Melbourne and Sydney started to moderately decrease, Brisbane rose from approximately 21,000 people to almost 39,000 people until around 1996. In 1998, in these cities, their populations started to increase again. However, in 2001, the population of Melbourne showed an sharp decrease in the next three years, whereas others remained relatively stable until around 2004.
After these changes, Melbourne climbed up to over 80,000 people from 20,000 in almost three years, while Sydney and Brisbane increased to 100,000 and around 61,000 people respectively in 2010. On the other hand, between 2010 and 2013, all of the populations considerably decreased. Lastly, in the last three years, the population of Brisbane mildly fluctuated, while Sydney and Melbourne rose to approximately 110,000 and just above 100,000 individuals respectively, marking their peaks in this graph.
