A glance at the bar graph provided reveals a detailed breakdown of the data regarding the quantity of books rented in a Malton Town library throughout the year 2009.
Overall, it is interesting to note that, December recorded was the highest number of rented books, while August had the second highest quantity. However, February had the lowest amount of rented books.
One particularly interesting fact highlighted by the chart is that more recently established local libraries were considerably shorter than the older ones. Completed in 2009, December and August recorded the oldest libraries and also the longest, the figure rose to around 21 thousand. Likewise, September and April showed medium figures, with about 12 thousand and 13 thousand books rented respectively. The youngest libraries were February, March and November, which the number of books rented around 6,000, 7,000 and 9,000. It can be noticed that book renting gradually increases towards at the end of the year.
