Furthermore, in 1980, Japan had the lowest percentage during this time, while Finland and Australia had the same percentage level, with the USA almost touching 15%. By 1990, Japan, Finland, and Australia saw a rapid increase in their percentages, with the USA’s adult population reaching 23%. In 2000, there was a significant climb in each country’s teenage population.
Consequently, the percentage of the adult population is expected to continue increasing in the upcoming trend across these four countries. Additionally, the USA’s percentage is projected to be higher in the future.
