The bar chart illustrates how much billions United States earned between 2019 and 2020, selling beef, pork, corn, and soybeans.
At first glance, what stand out is the soybeans’s significant trend, that increased sharply from 2019 to 2020, reaching the highest amount of money in the chart. Moreover the beef sale was in stark contrast to that of soybeans, with the lowest income.
It can be seen that soybeans exports exceeded $25 billions in 2020, with an income of $7 billions in a year. On the other hand, the corn proportion is clearly lower than the former because the trade was around $8 billions in 2019 and $9,5 billions in 2020.
Nevertheless beef and pork exports were nearly the same. The main difference is that the beef sale had a plateau phase, obtaining around $5 billions each year; whereas that of pork has a negligible increase, earning around $7 billions in 2020.
